Hope Hicks is the current White House Communications Director, and previously held several roles on Trump’s campaign and transition teams.
Prior to joining the campaign, Hicks worked at Hiltzik Strategies, a public relations firm of which Ivanka Trump was a client. After members of the Trump campaign met with Russia-linked individuals on June 9, Hicks was reportedly involved in drafting Donald Trump Jr.’s initial misleading response to the story. According to reports, Hicks met with special counsel Robert Mueller in December 2017. She also appeared before the House Intelligence Committee in a closed-door hearing on February 27, 2018, during which she refused to answer questions related to any post-election activities.
