Elena Baronoff (sometimes) was a Russian-American socialite and real-estate broker who worked as the Vice President of Customer Relations at the Trump Grande in Sunny Isles.
Baronoff, whose first name is sometimes transliterated as Lena, was once described on the cover of a Russian magazine as “The Russian Hand of Donald Trump.” Numerous photos viewable on social media show Baronoff with both high-ranking members of the Trump Organization, including members of the Trump family, and Eastern European clients. A 2013 article in The Nation about the influx of Eastern European money into the Miami real-estate market notes that Baronoff’s company, Exclusively Baronoff Realty, “operates from an office in the lobby of the Trump International Beach Resort” and caters to Eastern European clientele. According to Baronoff’s public LinkedIn profile, she previously served “as a cultural attaché in public diplomacy with the Russian government.” Baronoff died in December 2015.
